Hello There

Dustin Mattaio Mara

Dustin Mattaio Mara is a young designer & creative.
He is currently in his final year pursuing a BDes in Visual Communication Design & a BA in International Studies. His focus is directed at type & typography as they run tangentially to foreign language & cultural diffusion.
His current work places him with local nonprofits spreading awareness for domestic abuse & workplace harassment, foundations focused on diversifying & inclusifying the world of athletics, and teaching the two joys in his life – visual design & rowing.
Dustin was born at the intersection of the east & west ends of the Pacific and the crossroads of the 20th & 21st centuries. A life of juxtapositions & gradients provides him with great insight on his own biases and an intense empathy for a spectrum of realities.

Life is exciting and surprising at every corner thanks to the people around me. And to those who throw me a bone every once in a while you make it even more so. You know who you are. You are awesome. You are exceptional. You are my family. Thank you for everything you’ve done to make my life a life worth living.
